Preschool Pals
A positive and fun approach to learning
This camp is designed specifically for children who need to enhance their social and language skills to better interact with their peers. Preschool Pals is taught by experienced Speech-Language Pathologists. Each class will include developmentally appropriate activities designed to elicit language, develop peer interactions and provide practice using language skills in a structured environment.
Preschool Pals for 3’s and younger 4’s

Lunch Bunch
Have your child bring a nut free baged lunch to enjoy with our staff as we prepare for the afternoon adventure!

Kindergarten Readiness Boot Camp
This camp was designed to offer your child a high concentration of Pre-K skills. Our main goal is to ease the transition process for your child into Kindergarten. A structured small group approach is the ideal environment to focus on Kindergarten skills.
Our program will focus on: communication skills, academics, motor development and behavior. Social scripts and visuals are used to teach and reinforce skills. A pre and post survey of skill will be done to evaluate the child’s progress. Parents are encouraged to assist their child at home in a variety of daily activities.
Kindergarten Readiness Boot Camp
Days: Tuesday & Thursday
Time: 1:00 – 3:00

Elementary Horizons
This camp is designed to help your child make a smooth transition back to school. Taught by a special education teacher, Elementary Horizons will review the skills learned during the previous school year so these skills will be fresh in your student's minds as they begin the new school year. While the main focus will be on reinforcing language arts and math skills, the science and social studies standards of learning will also be touched upon as will following directions and social skills. Designed for students entering first and second grade, instruction will be presented in a variety of visual and hands-on modes, including movement, story and song.
Elementary Horizons
Days: Monday & Wednesday (Rising 1st Graders)
Tuesday & Thursday (Rising 2nd Graders)
Time: 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
Dates: July 27th – August 20th
Articulators
This camp is geared toward kids who are nearing or at the end of individual speech therapy for articulation skills. Kids who range in ages from 8 to 12 will enjoy interacting with their peers while enjoying a variety of activities. The camp is facilitated by a speech-language pathologist who will be monitoring the kids' carryover skills in an informal, relaxed and fun environment.

Socialites
The focus of this camp will be to put children in real-life situations in order to facilitate functional language interactions, incorporate problem solving strategies, and foster abstract thinking skills. The speech therapist will act as the facilitator and the kids will work together by sharing ideas, asking peers for help/materials, and listening to others in order to complete an activity successfully in a group situation. This camp is geared toward 7 to 10 year olds.

Brain Games
A fun class for 5 and 6 year old's that will incorporate gross motor, fine motor, and music activities. There will be a focus on following multiple step directions that are needed for Kindergarten and 1st grade.

Sensory Adventure Club
The Sensory Adventure Club has been designed to provide opportunities for all ages of children to explore their senses from a therapeutic aspect and to interact with peers. The goal of this camp is to touch upon as many different sensations as possible with focus on vestibular and proprioceptive input. Camp will always end with a calming sensory activity.
Explore “under the sea”, “the jungle” and “the laboratory” along with rock climbing adventures, obstacle courses, music, moon bounce and yoga.

Art Camp
Explore your creative side with art camp! We’ll expand your child’s artistic skills through coloring, cutting, painting, modeling clay, and more. Skills learned in camp will culminate with a mural to be painted in our facility. Camp activities will be modified to provide each child a “just right” challenge to expand skills in a fun way.

Yoga Adventures
Yoga provides many benefits for children. Physically, it enhances their flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness. Mentally, it improves their concentration, sense of calmness, and relaxation. Each session will be a new adventure and include yoga time, story time, games or arts/crafts and lots and lots of FUN!
